Growth precipitated the owner to move from three warehouses into a larger single facility. Siggins evaluated inventory and velocity, then combined dynamic storage media with conveyor automation to allow a smooth transition during the move. Efficiency has skyrocketed at the new site for Tagg Logistics.
Siggins Designs and Implements New Demdaco DC

Demdaco, a supplier of household gift and décor items, recently commissioned a new automated fulfillment center in Edgerton, KS. The 325,000 square foot distribution center is among the first to be located in the new BNSF Logistics Park Kansas City intermodal facility. Jeff Baker, DC Manager for Demdaco's new Edgerton location, indicated that the rail accessibility of the facility will contribute to saving significantly over their previous North Kansas City DC due to costs associated with the drayage of inbound sea containers.

Siggins considered solar panel installation for energy cost savings, for reduction of environmental impact, and for revenue stream from selling electricity to the grid.
