What Is a Pick-to-Light System in a Warehouse?

PTL systems use a series of light modules mounted to your storage solutions. These lights integrate with your ordering software. When an operator scans an order, the modules light up at the relevant items as a visual cue. Modules contain displays in addition to lights to indicate the order’s quantity. 

After the operator fulfills the item, they push the module’s button to mark it complete and move on to the remaining ones. An alphanumeric bay display lets operators know where to route the order after picking all relevant items in the zone.
